Warren G. Teeter

Warren George Teeter passed away peacefully at home in Lansing, NY, on October 6, 2022, at the age of 98.  Born January 5, 1924, in Lansing, Warren was the son of the late Raymond LaBar and Katherine T. (Carey) Teeter.  He spent his career as a cable company linesman, retiring in 1983 from Time Warner Cable.

Warren’s grandchildren meant everything to him.  “Peeka”, as they called him, would pick them up and take them places as often as possible just to spend time with them.  In his free time, Warren enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time on the lake.  He also enjoyed vacations to Aruba and beekeeping at home.  He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Ithaca.

Warren is survived by his son, Michael (Melissa) Teeter; grandchildren, Michelle Marie (Christopher) Sipes, Michael Lee Teeter, Jr. (Shelby West), and Michaela Anne Teeter (Bradley Chrisman); great-grandchildren, Colton Clyde Sipes and Lilliana Marie Sipes; and brother, Kenneth (Dolores) Teeter.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Warren James “Jim” (Linda) Teeter; daughter, Roseann M. Molock; and brothers, Alton, Francis, Raymond “Bugsy”, and Richard Teeter.

Committal services for Warren will be private.  A service celebrating his life will be announced in the future.
