Theresa (Mikula) Norman

Theresa (Mikula) Norman, 62, of Elmira, NY, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family at Arnot Ogden Medical Center on May 21, 2025. Born on July 4, 1962, in Ithaca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward Raymond and Mary Jane (Simons) Mikula. Theresa grew up in Lansing, NY, and graduated from Lansing High School before embarking on a 40 year career in the payroll department at Cornell University.

Theresa had a passion for traveling, boating, and enjoying the sun on a beach. She loved spending time in the Florida Keys and her boat was the greatest joy in her life.

Theresa is survived by her longtime companion, Jim Johnson; son, Shaun Norman (Stephanie); cherished granddaughter, Olivia Norman; siblings, Gail Shaff, Mike Mikula, Mary Baida (Gibran) and Diane Christopher (Craig); and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Edward Aldrich.
