Silvio Berarducci

Silvio Berarducci passed peacefully to be with our Lord on March 27, 2017 at Cayuga Medical after a brief illness.

Silvio was born in Ithaca, NY.  He remained a lifelong resident of the area for 83 years.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 until  1956.  Returning home he planted his roots for his future family.   Silvio enjoyed the serenity of the outdoors.  He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed being outside during all four seasons.   His summer time passion was growing his small vegetable garden, and keeping his lawn groomed like a golf course.

Silvio is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Jeanette Berarducci; his children Rob & Deb Berarducci, Patricia & David de Bruyn, and Donna Berarducci & Jim Frost.  He is also survived by his three grandchildren, who he cherished and adored, Jerica & Josh Duso, Heather Frost, and Nicholas de Bruyn.  Silvio is also survived by his sisters, Florence Navarro, and Angela Ostrander and one brother Author Berarducci, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private remembrance at a later date.
