Rosemary F. Fisk

January 18, 1947 — May 4, 2026

Ithaca, NY

Rosemary Frances Fisk, 79, of Ithaca, New York, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, with family by her side.

She was born on January 18, 1947, in Berwick, Pennsylvania, to Hugo and Catherine (Ciprianni) Biacchi. As an only child, she was raised within a large, close-knit extended Italian family. Upon graduating from Berwick High School, she met and married her husband, Terry Fisk. They married on February 20, 1965, in Berwick. Following job opportunities, they moved to Ithaca in 1966 and built a beautiful home and life together.

Rosemary began working for the Ithaca City School District in 1975 and completed a 27 year career there before retiring. She worked as a cafeteria worker and was every student's favorite cashier. She always said that she would have been a very rich lady if all the kids that borrowed lunch money, because they forgot theirs, had actually paid her back. She built lasting friendships and memories with co-workers, many of the students and teachers.

Following her retirement, Terry and Rosemary spent several enjoyable years together traveling to North Fort Myers, Florida during the colder months. They usually did not travel south until after the Christmas holiday, because there was no way she was missing out on celebrating the holidays with her beloved children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. One of her favorite things was supporting and attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events and activities. There were very few that she missed! You could find her in the crowd cheering them on proudly and loudly!

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Terry Fisk; her son, Terrance (Pam) Fisk of Ithaca, NY; her daughter, Lisa (Scott) Gelatt of Manlius, NY; and her grandchildren Cassidy, Cody, Abby and Emma.

Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Road, Lansing. Rosemary will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, Ithaca, following a private ceremony with family.
