Rebecca Lynn Rumpff

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rebecca Lynn (Seamon) Rumpff, age 37, of Locke, NY.  She was the light of our lives.

Born on December 31, 1984, in Ithaca, NY, she resided in East Genoa, NY, for most of her life.  Rebecca was a 2003 graduate of Southern Cayuga Central School and later earned her associate’s degree in accounting and business management from TC3.  She was employed by P&C Market in Lansing until their closure, and subsequently was employed at Lansing Market as scan coordinator until her passing.

On January 26, 2015, she finally found her Superman, Harold W.J. Rumpff.  Rebecca and Harold were engaged on March 2, 2018, and married on October 12, 2019.

In addition to Harold, who was the light of her life, Rebecca is survived by her loving children, Cierra Payge, Brayden Parker, Kara Ann, Brittany Rose and Mikayla Renee; parents, Susan and Timothy Seamon; grandmother, Patricia Wheeler; and brother, Jon F. Ross.  She was predeceased by her grandfather, Norman E. Wheeler, Sr., in 2020.

The family would like to thank all who sent a card, called, or responded to their immediate need.  A special thank you to the Genoa Fire Crew, New York State Police, and Cayuga County Crisis Center.

Funeral services for Rebecca will be private for the family.
