Peter Cudlin

Peter Cudlin, 94, an Ormond Beach, FL, resident, formerly of Newfield, NY, passed away peacefully on August, 26, 2023 in the comfort of his home. Born November 9, 1928, in Newfield, he was the son of the late Josephine (Sy) and Charles Cudlin.

Peter moved to Florida in 1959 and worked for Thriftway Grocery Stores. He was an avid reader and loved to sell his "inventory" on eBay. He also enjoyed being a keen watchdog of the financial markets.

Peter was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Jane Helen. He is survived by his son, Charles Peter of Holly Hill, FL; daughters, Jane Germano of Colorado and Karen Wittman of Kansas; brother, Joseph Cudlin of Newfield; and grandchildren, Sheena and Devin Cudlin, both of FL, Kellen Wittman of MD, and Alexander Wittman of TX.

Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY 14882. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Newfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Peter’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
