Maureen Kelly

Maureen Ann (Miller) Kelly, 58, of Lansing, NY, passed away on November 7, 2023 at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca while surrounded by family.  Born on May 24, 1965 in Staten Island, NY, she was a daughter of the late Harold Gordon and Kathleen Patricia (McCormack) Miller.  Maureen graduated from Tottenville High School in Staten Island and went on to attend the College of Staten Island.  She was previously employed as a Teaching Assistant at Lansing Central School District.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading and crocheting, and had a strong affinity for Mountain Dew.  Above everything else, she loved her family—especially her three daughters.

Maureen is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Kelly, Colleen “Cai” Kelly and Jennifer “Jenny” Kelly; siblings, Katherine (Brian) White and Kenneth (Liz) Miller; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Francis Kelly; and brothers, John Miller and Jeffrey Miller.

Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Road, Lansing.  A memorial service in Staten Island will be held at a later date, followed by interment in North Lansing Cemetery.
