Mary Honcharik, 99, of Ithaca, NY, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026. Born on March 13, 1926 in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Esther (Mikuliak) Honcharik. Mary devoted her life to education, serving as both a teacher and guidance counselor in the Ithaca City School District.

Mary is survived by her fiancé, Anthony N. Biconish. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Olga Robinson, in 2023.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private burial will be held in the family plot at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings-On-Hudson, NY.
