Marion was born January 8, 1921 to parents Elizabeth (Stark-Cooper) and Fred Huddle of Ithaca, NY. She graduated from Ithaca High School in 1939, and was employed over the years in several clerical positions, later becoming a Foster Care mother and a Day Care provider.Â
She enjoyed camping, travelling, fishing, playing her guitar, painting, crafts, and was especially appreciated for her cooking skills. She was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, who enjoyed her family and friends.  Her memory and recall of events, people, places and her (humorous) wit made her a great pleasure to be around. Â
She married the love of her life, Charles F. Lucas, Sr. (Lansing, NY) on November 14, 1942, sharing the mutual love & joy of life together. They resided in Lansing, NY, and raised their children there. Charles predeceased Marion in 1982.
Marion is survived by 3 sons: Wayne (Bonnie) Lucas of Lansing, NY; Charles (Kenyann) Lucas, Jr. of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and Paul (Cathy) Lucas of Penn Yan, NY.  Also surviving her are grandchildren: Lynnea (Roger) Van DePoel, Devon Lucas, Jamie (Bobby) Brierton, Matt (Maggie) Lucas, Jessica (Fernando) Juarez, Paul (Heather) Lucas, Julie Lucas, Cara Lucas, Mark (Catherine) Lucas, Callie Lucas and Jon Lucas. Great-grandchildren: Kyle Van dePoel, Cole Van dePoel, Jake Brierton, Sadie Juarez, Evan Juarez, Nico Lucas, Grace Lucas, Matt Lucas, Kiara Lucas, Mia Husch and Reese Husch, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She also leaves a legacy of lasting friendships- many from as long ago as grade school, to her most recent friendships- making friends wherever she went, always open, always grateful, always caring.  She will be sincerely missed by all.
Marion was pre-deceased by siblings:Â Mureen (Walter) Griffin, Steve (Ethel) Cooper, Clarence (Alice) Cooper, Harry (Eva) Cooper.
