Jeffrey L. Hamilton, Sr.

Jeffrey L. Hamilton, Sr., 65, of Ithaca, passed away at home on June 27, 2023, following a brief illness. Born in Ithaca on December 24, 1957, he was the son of the late Edward and Delores Hamilton. Jeff was a union carpenter with the Carpenters Union Local 281 in Ithaca until his retirement. More recently, he enjoyed driving for Gadabout.  Jeff was passionate about hunting, playing guitar, golf, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was also a talented wood carver. More than anything, he loved his family.

Jeff is survived by his loving partner, Terri; children, Tamara, Jeffrey Jr., Tabitha, Cassidy and Carrie Ann; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, William, Edward, Beverly, James, Elaine and Pam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Raymond and Deborah.

Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Road, Lansing. Burial in Brookton Cemetery will be private.
