Janice L. Ciaschi, 76, of Lansing, passed away peacefully at home on April 18, 2026.

Janice was known for her warm heart, strong work ethic, and love for her family. She spent many years working alongside loved ones at Joe’s Restaurant in Ithaca, NY, and finished her career at Crossroads Bar & Grille in Lansing, NY. She built lasting friendships and memories with many of the customers she met over her career. Her greatest pride was being a devoted wife and a loving dog mom to Rusty and Dusty, who brought her great joy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, James Ciaschi, Jr.; her stepchildren, Jamie Ciaschi and Tammy (Jakub) Rozga; her sister-in-law, Yvonne McGinnis; her nieces, Jennifer (Kevin) Storey and Kristen McGinnis; and her five grandchildren.

A private burial service will be held for immediate family at Calvary Cemetery in Ithaca.
