Jack L. Morse

Jack Loren Morse, 75, passed away while surrounded by family on August 9, 2026, at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca. Born in Dunkirk, NY, on February 21, 1951, he was the son of the late Marvin and Diane (Hart) Morse.

Jack was a dear and generous man who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Polisoto) Morse; children, Chris Morse (Brittany Volk) and Stephanie Morse (Daniel Fredman); beloved dog, Sadie; grandchildren, Bee, Scarlett and Thea Morse; and siblings, Polly Gambino, Sue Lisi (Mike) and Donald Morse (Donna). In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Morse; brother-in-law, David Gambino; and grand-dog, Gizmo.

In keeping with Jack’s wishes, there will be no public memorial services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Jack’s memory to the Lansing Baseball Program, Ithaca Hockey Program, Colorectal Cancer Alliance, or SPCA of Tompkins County.
