Erica Lee Crytzer, born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1960, has completed her assignment here. She will, however, be continuing on, in the nonphysical form, which although lacking in fine dining, has other perks that were too good to pass up.
When she was young, she had tenacity- she would stick to whatever she made up her mind to learn, until she got it.
She loved animals, and the older she got, the more she loved them. She spent many years doing her best to help them, to understand them, and to help people understand them. Her animals loved her back.
She loved children. She never lost her ability to think and play like a child. She also knew how to be an adult with them, and set limits, so they felt safe. She had a wonderful relationship with her daughter Sasha, who was the light of her life. Her daughter once wrote to her: "When I was born, I felt cradled in love, and I felt safe. Everything was light, and everything was magic. You gave me the ultimate beginning, which laid the foundation for the rest of my life." She felt being a good mother was her greatest accomplishment.
Her soul mate on the partnership path was her husband Jeremy. They learned a lot from each other, and continued to grow always, individually and together. Their commitment to each other was total. Their loyalty, forged in a crucible of many personal difficulties, was unbreakable.
She was intelligent, and used her intelligence to get to the bottom of things, that is, to search for and find the truth. She grew to be an increasingly spiritual person, and tried very hard to live the principles of kindness and compassion.
She will be dearly missed. She spent her life working to help others, and to that end, has left detailed instructions for her husband and daughter to celebrate her mission here, and live their best lives. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated.
She was given the gift of being able to pass in her own home, in her own bed, surrounded by the three people she loved so dearly, and who loved her completely: her husband Jeremy, her daughter Sasha, and her daughter-in-law Lisa.
We will remember her humor, her smile, her dancing, her wonderful cooking (she was the queen of delicious unlikely pairings), her fantastic party planning with everything just so (who could forget the apocacocktail party), her compassion, her wisdom, her joie de vivre, her dedication to helping us all.
Interment will be private; a celebration of life gathering will be held next spring.
