Dorothy V. Small

Dorothy V. Small of North Lansing, passed away at home on October 31, 2016, at the age of 90. 

A lifelong resident of the Lansing area, Dorothy was born August 30, 1926, at home in Portland Point to the late Paul and Louise Zifchock Lucas. 

Dorothy graduated from high school in Ludlowville, and in 1949, was married to Lawrence Small, who passed away in 2007.  She retired from Cornell University where she was a stock keeper in the School of Nutritional Science.  Dorothy was a sweet, kind, quiet woman who will be dearly missed by her daughter & son in law, Liz and Rich Chandler of Moravia; and her large extended family. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Ann Small; son, Gregory Small; sisters, Mary, Anna, Katie, Agness, Elizabeth “Betty”; and brother, Charles.

A private graveside service will be held at North Lansing Cemetery.
