Doris Ann McDougal, 79, of Lansing, NY, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 23, 2026. Born in Ithaca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Annabelle (Bailey) VonBurger.
Doris enjoyed living life and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Steve (Tammy) and Crystal; grandchildren, Zachary, Thomas, Kyle, Benjamin and LeeAnn; and great-granddaughter, Gwendolyn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David, and siblings, including Nancy and Janet.
In keeping with Doris’s wishes there will be no public memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Hospicare.
