Donald Bordenet, Sr.

Donald Bordenet. Sr. passed away on October 18, 2015, after succumbing to his short battle with cancer.  Born June 23, 1936, he was a son of the late Louie and Hazel (Peck) Bordenet. Don attended Ithaca High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy.  He drove bus for Swarthout and Ferris, traveled in the music industry for Land Yacht, then retired from Cornell University to care for his late wife, F. Jean (Kilts) Bordenet, who passed away in 2014.  Don is survived by his son, Donald Bordenet, Jr.; daughter, Charmayne Jacintho (Todd); grandchildren, Kimberly Jayne, Jennifer Mayer (Jeff), and Michelle Jayne; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service, with Military Honors, will be held at 12 noon, Friday, October 23rd, at Pine Grove Cemetery, 466 Ridge Rd., Lansing, NY.
