Dale William Steigerwald

Dale William Steigerwald was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Delbert and Kathryn Steigerwald, both deceased. He passed away peacefully of natural causes at age 67 on March 20, 2018 in Ithaca, New York, his home for the past eight years. Dale was a graduate of Mariemont High School (1968), University of Cincinnati (1973) and Ohio State University (1976, landscape architecture).

This gentle soul, master gardener, voracious reader, and amateur photographer and artist, will be lovingly remembered by his four sisters: Kay Pope (Michael), Janet Bell, Anne Wolfram (John) and Judi Farley (Jude) and his AFS brother Ingar Vold, as well as 8 nieces and nephews, 7 great-nieces and nephews, his uncle Jim McConkey, and his cousins Larry McConkey and Jim McConkey.

A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Matthew Binkewicz, will be held at 11am, April 13, 2018, at Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Rd., Lansing, NY.
