Charles was born in Rochester, NY on June 19, 1987. In his early life, he enjoyed travelling with his family to many locations around the United States. He was especially fond of spending summers with his family at his grandparentâs cottage on Lake Leelanau in Michigan, and visiting his grandmotherâs house in Niagara Falls NY. Charles attended primary school at Lansing Central Schools and subsequently attended George Mason University in Fairfax VA. Charles studied Biology with a particular interest in genetics. He decided not to pursue a career in the biological sciences, and instead found his passion in the field of manufacturing and engineering. He was employed at Incodema in Ithaca NY, where he was known for his intense dedication to his work, intelligence, and desire to improve his skills. Charles was very fond of flying remote control aircraft, especially helicopters, and was known amongst the Ithaca Radio Control Society as a particularly gifted pilot who was willing to risk his machines in aerobatic maneuvers that many pilots never even attempt.
