Calvin V. Swayze, lifelong Lansing area resident, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2015 at the Hospicare Residence in Ithaca at the age of 71.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Swayze of Cincinnatus, Pat Swayze of Lansing; grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew and Katelyn Swayze; six great grandchildren; sisters, Trudy Congdon (Dana) of Lansing, and Sandy Ferris (Floyd) of Lansing.
In addition to his parents, Ransom and Jessie Coon Swayze, Cal was preceded in death by a sister, Claudette Roberts.
In keeping with Cal’s wishes, no public services are scheduled.
