Carrie F. Norton, 44, passed away September 6, 2015, after a long illness.

Born November 17, 1970 in Key West, FL, she was the daughter of the late John S. Bond and Linda Lerch Rescorl, who survives her. Carrie was a 1989 graduate of Romulus Central School and Community College of the Finger Lakes. She was an artist and owner of Pretty in Ink, a custom art and rubber stamp business.  She enjoyed gardening, audio books, pet rabbits, spiritual conversations and was a proponent of essential oils. One of her favorite pleasures came from her blog, "Rooster in the Roaster", where she shared her life experiences, wisdom and wit. Carrie's best times were those spent with family and friends.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend.

Carrie is survived by her husband, Joseph "Jody" Norton; mother, Linda Rescorl (William); children, Elanee, Vayda, Maya and Allana-Lee; step children, Daniel (Becky), Aaron (Shelley), Lynde, Ben and Angelica; grandchildren, Jaden, Javari and Mason; brother, Gregory Davidson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11am, Friday, Sep. 11th, at Calvary Cemetery, 636 Five Mile Dr., Ithaca.  A memorial service is being planned for Sunday, October 11, 2015, details will be announced at a later date.
